The Royal Renaissance Singers
If you like your history lessons with a side of music and fun, consider hiring the Royal Renaissance Singers for your next special event!
Founded in 1978, the Royal Renaissance Singers have delighted audiences for over 40 years with their unique blend of a capella music and merriment. Garbed in period costumes, these accomplished professional singers deliver motets, madrigals, and other Elizabethan-era pieces with wit and style. For an extra fee, they can even deliver a royal feast, complete with “lackeys” to serve your table. They are also available for classroom presentations, describing and demonstrating the Renaissance period’s music, artists, and customs. At Christmas time they can help you celebrate as you would have in Merrie Olde England, against a background of exquisite tapestries, with a toast from the Wassail Bowle and beautifully dressed singers a caroling – an experience not to be missed!
